BIOGRAPHY​

Jason started sailing the California coast in 2003, but then, life and family happened. After a long pause, a 2022 sailing trip to La Paz, Baja California with his son reignited his passion for the sport — this time it stuck. Since then, he has sailed consistently, earning multiple American Sailing Association certifications with an eye toward integrating sailing into his retirement years, both as a bareboat charterer and as someone who loves passing the craft on to new sailors. Whether you're working through points of sail for the first time or building toward coastal cruising confidence, he's focused on making sure concepts genuinely click — not just for the exam, but for real-world sailing.
