MATT BAKER

BIOGRAPHY​

Growing up on Whidbey Island in the Pacific Northwest and spending summers on lake Pend Oreille and Coeur D'alene in Idaho instilled a love and passion for sailing and just being out on the water. My youth was spent puttering around with boats and it wasn't until I came to Arizona in 2012 that I pursued the knowledge, experience and qualification tracks for sailing and racing dinghies and keelboats. This led to instructing for the local youth and adult classes and will carry me to more destinations! I started my certification track right here in AZ, with the Sailboat Shop and so can you! I look forward to sailing with you in a hands on, learn by doing approach where we both get to share and enjoy the experience!
