BIOGRAPHY​

Hello, my name is Captain Mike Birdsell and as your instructor, my first priority is your safety. After our time together, you will be confident in fulfilling the responsibilities the certification you have earned will bring. We will have some fun and make some great memories along the way. I first learned to sail in the late 70’s as a boy with my family and have been linked to the sea ever since. Today I surf daily, sail regularly and can be found up and down the southern California coast but rarely very far from the water.
